YWCA Central Alabama held its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, January 30, 2007.
The board of directors, junior board, and past board members attended the meeting for the review of the annual program statistics, introduction of new board members, and the unveiling of the expanded YWCA’s racial justice website.
Dr. Jenny Gauld and Ethel Gibson presented the Woman of Valor awards to Minnie Rast and Betty Eshelman, for their continued support of the YWCA and their dedication to helping others.
Outgoing President, Sheryl Kimerling was presented a specially designed heart of gold for all of her hard work and dedication to the YW. Vicki Baxter Palefsky and Howard Palefsky were special guests at this year’s luncheon and announced their generous support of the programs and services at the YW.
