Women
can't be seeds of hope if they are trying to survive in a hostile
environment. And for thousands of women, that hope is crushed by
the careless anger and violence of an abusive husband or other family
member. The YW has dedicated much of its resources to helping victims
of domestic violence find the strength to uproot themselves from
their situation and be encouraged to find a place rich with warmth
and hope -- for themselves and their children.
