The AmeriCorps Administrator is a team player who is comfortable being strong support for many different aspects of the AmeriCorps program. Though primarily administrative, this position also allows for the development of leadership skills.   

Essential Functions:

  • Use OnCorps (online system) to monitor AmeriCorps member timesheets to ensure compliance with CNCS expectations, including requesting that members and supervisors make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure that members utilize Netchex properly and make corrections to missed punches as needed.
  • Schedule meeting rooms for interviews, training, and other meetings.
  • Coordinate and provide support for Team Leaders.
  • Manage member files in coordination with the Coordinator of AmeriCorps.
  • Calculate, invoice, and collect fees from AmeriCorps partner agencies in coordination with the Director of AmeriCorps
  • Conduct interviews with AmeriCorps applicants as needed
  • Assist planning and setting up AmeriCorps member training
  • Assist with coordination of and reporting on National Service Days
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Director of AmeriCorps.


  • Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Forms
  • Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team as necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Two years' administrative experience
