Child Care at the YWCA
KIDS
Korner Day Care
Provides quality, licensed day care at no cost
to homeless families living in community shelters. This allows parents
to work, attend classes and search for housing during the day. This
program focuses of building self-esteem and security for children
whose lives are in traumatic transition.

Evening Child Care
Volunteers are needed to work with children of
all ages while parents attend workshops and support groups.

Qualifications
Child care volunteers must be 19 or older, mature
and able to relate to children in a positive and caring way. Volunteers
must complete the volunteer training program.
Time Commitment
Weekdays from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Evening
child care times are on Mondays, 6:00p.m. to 7:30p.m., and Thursdays,
6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.
