Special Projects Volunteer

Fill out the online application today to volunteer with the YWCA!

Occasionally volunteers are needed to help with special projects, from assisting staff with large events to providing extra office help. The volunteer coordinator keeps a list of people who are willing to help with various tasks on an as-needed basis. This is a great way to get involved without making a regular commitment to a program.  Call us to find out how you or your organization can get involved.

If you have a group looking for a project or have a special talent/ skill you’d like to utilize, call us to arrange a special project.

The YWCA is located at 309 North 23rd Street. For information about volunteering, please click below or contact the YWCA at 322-9922 and ask for the Volunteer Coordinator.

Don't see what you're looking for? Contact Valerie Johnson at (205) 322-9922 or by email at vjohnson@ywcabham.org to share your own ideas.

Due to the nature of the services that the YW provides to women and children, volunteers working with children, and in some cases, volunteers working with our domestic violence program will undergo background checks.
