Register: CREW Camp for Teens

CREW APPLICATIONS

It’s time again for YWCA Central Alabama’s Family Resource Center to welcome its annual CREW (Creating Responsible Educated Working teens)! CREW is a hybrid (virtual/in-person) four-week summer enrichment program that primarily serves Woodlawn teens entering 9th-12th grades; however, other high school students within the Greater Birmingham area are also encouraged to apply.

This June 13-July 11 camp offers internship opportunities – thanks to local business partnerships – that align with students’ education and career goals. Students receive a weekly stipend for their participation as well as tips on budgeting and saving. They also hear weekly from leaders in various areas to help in their professional growth. Professional development areas for CREW participants include public speaking, self-esteem, financial literacy, social media, soft skills and more.

We welcome applications from all students regardless of race, creed, nationality, school, religion, gender, sexual orientation or ability.
