YWCA Family Resource Center
The YWCA Family Resource Center is a multi-purpose facility in the heart of the YWoodlawn campus. It was established in 2011 to provide programming and information, first for residents in YWoodlawn housing and secondly for the greater Woodlawn community.

SCHEDULE: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday
(Schedule varies for weekend, school year, and summer programming and during inclement weather)
Who do we serve?
Programs at the FRC serve children (age 4 & older), teenagers,
adults, and senior adults
What do we offer?
We have educational, performance art, nutritional, visual art
and life skills-based offerings.
How can I help?
We collaborate with community partners such as: ArtPlay, Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Jefferson State Community College, Alabama Humanities Foundation, The
Alliance Re-Entry Center of Bessemer and others.
We enjoy the support of volunteers and generous corporate, foundation, and private funding, including individual donors. All programs, services, and events are free of charge to those we serve.
